Piñon Tutoring is proud to offer educational consultations and teacher/staff professional development and continuing education trainings to schools in New Mexico. Our goal is to provide flexible and useful consultations, courses, seminars, and trainings that enhance your performance outcomes and create continuity among your staff.

What types of schools do you work with?

We have primarily worked with small, independent or private schools, but are willing to create partnerships with any schools or districts that should have need or desire in Albuquerque or the surrounding areas! Our tutors work with students directly to stay engaged with best practices, but also love working with adults to further hone their educational craft. We value teacher and staff input regarding our trainings, consultations, courses, and seminars, so please gather their input so we can best serve you in a way that is most useful.

Do you provide proof of completion?

Upon completion of a training or consultation program, we will provide each relevant member of your staff with a certificate of completion that serves as proof of their attendance at our courses and seminars, including the topic of the course or seminar and the number of hours attended. It is the responsibility of the school or entity to ensure that our services confirm with any regulations or laws that may be in place, and to make necessary arrangements accordingly should the situations warrant. We are happy to work with you if there are any complications!

How much do educational consultation services cost?

We use a sliding scale depending on staff size, number of hours of training requested, location of service, and a few other considerations. Please reach out to seth@pinontutoring.com or fill out the contact form found on the bottom of the homepage with details about your request including staff size and we will make a pricing proposal.

How do I book a service?

Please submit a request for a consultation proposal by filling out our Educational Consultation Proposal Request Form. Please note that it's best to give at least one month between your request and the anticipated date of your service.

Alternatively, you may call or email our owner, Seth Stambaugh, at 505.65.PINON (505.657.4666) or seth@pinontutoring.com, with the following details:

1) The type of service you're requesting (teacher training, admin consultation, professional development seminar, etc)

2) Your school or institution's name and some information about your philosophy

3) The number of people who will be present at the service and the number of hours

4) What you hope to accomplish with the training

5) Any special considerations or topics you would like us to cover
